Sizing FAQs
What information do you need to size a flow measurement product?
At minimum: line size (and schedule or ID), fluid type, operating pressure and temperature, and your expected flow range.
If available, include density/viscosity, allowable pressure drop, and any upstream/downstream piping constraints.
How do I choose between a venturi and an orifice plate?
Venturis typically offer lower permanent pressure loss and strong long-term stability, while orifice plates are compact and commonly specified. We’ll recommend the best fit based on your fluid, range, accuracy needs, and pressure-drop limits. See venturi tubes and

Do you support custom configurations?
Yes. If you have non-standard materials, unusual line sizes, or special tapping/connection requirements, we can help. For machining support, see custom machine work.
